NanoStyle’s Cubic Zirconia Jewelry – The Only Diamond Alternative

As you well know, WireBliss Design is mostly about handmade wire wrap jewelry with mixture of rambles about family life, culture, interesting places, fellow jewelry artists and their works as well as sharing the discovery of jewelry sites in general.
In this post, I’d like to share with you NanoStyle’s cubic zirconia jewelry collection, the first to find a way to engrave 24kt gold onto semi-precious stones! Impressive!
I browsed through their collections, ranging from New-Age, Universal, Christianity, Judaism, Tokens of Love and Zodiac - and chose the amazing Peace Pendant in 120 Languages in Onyx you see below:

This amazing Peace Pendant in 120 Languages in Onyx is just one of many Onyx Pendants available from NanoStyle.com. It is also one of their bestsellers, alongside the I Love You in 120 Languages Pendant (available in both onyx and cubic zirconia).
As for diamonds, let’s be honest – diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but not everyone can afford such a friendship. And with NanoStyle’s fantastic cubic zirconia range, I dare you to try and spot the difference!
The color range they offer in their Zodiac Pendant collection is incredible; just take a look at a few:

It gets even better: once the parcel arrived, I found more than just the pendant – it contained an adorable magnifying glass, a lovely key chain and a little something extra for the tastebuds!
Here are the words you see with the accompanying magnifying glass (it’s kind of small but look closer-click on the pictures to enlarge). I am like a little kid who just discovered a new toy…LOL…This really will make a great gift. After all we really do need “PEACE” – peace at home, peace in the country and peace in the world.
Till then, check out NanoStyle’s FaceBook Fan Page – to ensure you keep up to date with all their latest releases!

Reminder to Self and Friends & a Wire Wrap Green Pendant

There are so many things in my mind the last few days (till now and probably in the next couple of weeks/months maybe....hmmm), but I just got to tackle them one at a time.
Go! go! Mei...you can do it. Yeah!
Need some self-encouragement here.
OK, first thing first.
Have you heard that Artfire Basic Account, which till now is free will be retired on the 15th August?
After the 15th, all NEW pro seller will have to pay $11.95 monthly.
If you have been considering to open an Artfire shop, just a gentle reminder (I am not getting anything from Artfire for this :D) to please do so before the 15th and you would lock your monthly rate at $9.95.
Remember! Before the 15th of August - click here brings you to Artfire registration page.
Ok, Done my part to help you save $2 every month :)

Now, here is sharing with you an Aventurine pendant with wire weaved bail.
Looks easy but spent hours to get the balance weave.
In the process, wasted some amount of wires.

Those round beads are stainless steel beads.
Cute! Look like grapes.

Google+, TAW Bracelet and Rings

Just as I am getting comfortable with Facebook, out came Google+ project - another product about sharing in the web.
Although still getting myself familiar with Google+, I am beginning to really like it. Mainly because it links to my Google account and I do use a lot of Google products. So far my favorite is "Circles".
Created one for "wire jewelry" and will be adding more people in there from time to time. From here I can share/unshare news, photos, videos, with people in/out of my circles. Have a look at my Google+ page.
Still rather empty at the moment but just to give you ideas of how it looks like.
Are you in Google+ yet? Would you like an invite from me?
If yes, leave me your email address in the comment section and I'll send you an invite.

Ok, enough of Google+. Now, back to wire wrap jewelry.
These are the recently completed Twice Around the World (TAW) Bracelet and Rings.

The Moonstone Prong Ring my Father Made Me

My father is a welder so he works with metal a lot.
He also makes his own jewelry but almost exclusively ring.
Not sure why I didn't catch the jewelry making bug from him back then but he made quite a number of them.
Maybe because he works with stainless steel block and not wire.
As far as I remember, he never sold any of his handmade rings.
He does take his own sweet time in making them though - few months to finish a piece! including my ring here which I collected when we went for our vacation two weeks ago.

This ring (Moonstone) is a special request from me.
He said it's not that well done but I am very happy with it because with this ring I feel a different kind of connection with him...we actually share the same interest..and I am sure I inherited this talent/skill from him...:)

No soldering. The prongs or claws are cut from the same piece that form the ring.

Now, it stays on my finger! <3
