One of the happiest moment for me is when people say they love my wire jewelry creations.

Crafts Promotion at Kuching Waterfront
Today is the last day of the Malaysian Crafts Promotion at Kuching Waterfront. It started on July 31st. It was really a hassle to go there as one side of the road is closed for traffic and tents are set up there. Made few rounds until I decided to park about half a kilometer away. Overall, I am quite dissappointed as there are more textiles stalls than other crafts. The crowd was small...maybe because it was noon time and its so so so hot.
Enjoy the pictures here: Click on the photo to enlarge.
Rose! Rose! I Still Love You
My photo editing is not done yet but I took some time off to make these Rose! Rose! I Love You wire wrapped rings this afternoon. A really quick project and quite simple.
Off to their new owners very soon.

Lecia's Sparkly Crystal Ring
Another artist I get to know through my Sparkly Crystal Ring Tutorial is Lecia of Lecia's Designs. This picture here is the Sparkly Crystal Ring made by Lecia. Very well done Lecia! :)
Besides creating jewelry, Lecia is a lampwork artist. She showcases here creations at her website. I browsed around and found myself at her studio, and all I can say is WOW!, wish one day I'll receive similar birthday present :). If you read my post the other day - work station - you'll know why.
This are Lecia's comments on the tutorial:
This tutorial is easy to follow, well illustrated and written. I had a ring made in less than 15 mins. TY! Thanks again for a fabulous tutorial! I will be making those rings for a long time, the ladies love them!Yeap! The ladies really love this ring. Same here. Thank you Lecia for allowing me to share this.

Wirework "Work Station"
Here is a confession! I am very "envious" of people who have dedicated "work station/ bench/ corner / room" :) That is why I am quite shy to show you my work station.
The truth is I don't have a dedicated work station while making my wire jewelry. Most of the time I am at the inner living room. Sometimes when it is too dark, I move to the main living room but then I will be fighting for space with the boys. Sometimes I work in the bedroom and last weekend I stationed myself in the dry kitchen (see picture below!) as I need the natural light for taking pictures for my up and coming wire jewelry tutorial.
And guess what? I love working in the kitchen! As you can see, its bright, airy and snack within reach :). Outside the window is our orchid garden. So I look out once in a while to rest my eyes. It gets a bit warm and hot during mid-noon though, as the sun would be shining in through the windows. To escape the heat, I will move to the dining table just behind the chair here.
Do you have your own working station/bench? or you are like me - a nomad...LOL.
