Finally Its Here!

:D Waited two weeks for this and today it finally arrived. Funny but on the way home from work I got the feeling that its here....sixth sense? Hmm....
Been looking for this cup bur for a long time. Asked my sister in-law in Calgary to look for it but she couldn't find it.
Definitely can't find in Malaysia. Almost gave up when I came upon tooltime at etsy last two weeks and found what I have been looking for all this while. The rest is just smooth sailing.
If you are wondering what the heck is this for, the cup bur is to effectively de-bur the end of a wire after it has been cut! I have not experimented with it yet so I wouldn't know how good it is compared to a normal file. But I really hope that it is better :)

Wire Woven Raw Stone Pendant

I am not sure what to name this stone so I just name it raw stone. Reason being it is one very ordinary river stone - I believe it is a river stone as I have seen similar stone in river that we frequented. It is not shiny but smooth, probably from years of tumbling by nature. I didn't collect this but purchased it. Don't know why but I was attracted to this stone the moment I set eyes on it. Love at first sight?

Just a few Post Earrings

Here are few post earrings I managed to get done today. They are done almost similar to the stud earrings. It's late and it's time for bed. I was unable to access my blog earlier, reason for this late posting. But I will be off to bed right after this. So, have a wonderful morning and happy weekend. wire wrapped post earrings wire wrapped post earrings WireBlissMei

Wire Woven Turquoise Cab

This one was very tough on my fingers. Yikes! The most difficult part was shaping the weaved wires to follow the shape of the cab and holding the shape together while making the bail. Imagine having to handle 14 wires on top there. I am reminding myself to use finer wires in my next project. For this one, I used 22ga and 26ga for weaving. Wire Woven Turquoise CabInspiration: Lisa Barth

Wire Wrapped Cross - Cherry Quartz

Been wanting to post this wire wrapped cross since last night but just manage to find some time to do it now. The two boys are taking their nap and its raining outside. So, its cool and quite. This is a commissioned piece. The frame is 18ga wire while stones are made up of Cherry Quartz, garnet and amethyst as the center piece. All wrapped with 28ga wire. I made something similar last year. I actually forgotten how I made it! Yeah! it happens. Wire Wrapped Cross - Cherry Quartz WireBlissMei
