Happy Valentine's Day - IN LOVE with Copper n Black Steel Wires

First of all I would like to wish HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to all readers and visitors of my blog. I hope you are surrounded by love and love ones on this special day and the days ahead. Thank you for visiting / revisiting my blog. Although I am not "celebrating" this day per se, I would like to think that everyday is a Valentine Day for me. Originally I was planning for a wire wrapped rose pendant but I ended up making these two rings instead. This time around I added Swarovski Crystal and Pearl as the focal on them. Wire Wrapped Black Rose

I am falling in love with this black steel wire. Tonight I made another Wire Wrapped Rose Ring with it. This is a 19ga wire. I am quite sure the ring would look better with thicker wire but 19ga is the thickest I have for now. Rose! Rose! I Love You

First there is the black rose, then a stainless steel rose, then I got crazy and made few more copper roses. Crazier, I am writing a tutorial for this at the moment....at a whim! Look out for it tomorrow...maybe! but not long.....:D

End of holidays for my fingers - Busy weaving

I rested my fingers for about two weeks in conjunction with Chinese New Year! That's a long long time but I guess they deserve the rest as they have been working very hard the whole of last year :) Not that I am complaining. After the long rest, today they start to get busy again. Took out my pliers, wires and stones and made these 2 adjustable woven wire rings. All this while I thought I have ran out of this faceted black onyx but found three of them hidden away in one of the plastic containers. The last one left is for me...hehehe. Hope I can find the same kind of stone, shape and cut again as they are one of the favorite.
