Basic wire braiding tutorialStep 1| Cut 3 separate wires of about 9 inches each. Step 2| Grip all 3 wires with a quick grip (I used hubby's quick grip here :)).
Basic wire braiding tutorialStep 3| Take wire 1 on the left over wire 2 in the center. Step 4| Take wire 3 on the right over wire 1 which is now in the center. Step 5| Continue by repeating Steps 3 and 4, keeping the wires as close as possible to each other. Basic wire braiding tutorialStep 6| Stop braiding when you almost reach the end. Leave about and inch to form spirals later. Basic wire braiding tutorialStep 7| Use something round (here I use Oil of Olay Suncreen Lotion bottle) to shape the bracelet. Step 8| Once done, use round nose and flat nose pliers to make tiny spirals of the remaining wire ends. Well done! You made yourself a simple braided bracelet. Are you ready for more? Maybe you can try these out| Facing the Cobra II or Meet me Halfway :) or wait for the tutorials - Coming Soon :)

Frequently Asked Questions

I am referring to questions related to my Tutorials. Starting this year, from time to time, I will post some of the questions from my customers here for the benefits of others as well. Here are two of the most frequently asked questions I received and my answers for them:
Question 1. "After I buy it (the tutorial/s) if I need help with it would you be open to being ask questions if need be?" Answer: Of course! I welcome questions and very convo friendly. Your success in making a piece based on my Tutorial/s is most important to me. Question 2: Do you provide supply list for material used in your Tutorials? Answer: Unfortunately no but rest assured that material used in my tutorials are material you can easily find in any craft shops or bead shops. Otherwise, they can easily be substituted with other similar material. Eg. You may substitute an 8mm Swarovski Crystal with your favorite 8mm gemstones.
If you have further questions relating to my Tutorials, feel free to ask me. You may also email me at meiky6@gmail.com. Otherwise, leave me a comment here and I shall get back to you :)

Wet! Wet! Days Ahead

Its been a week since I last posted. How time flies. Haven't been able to complete any wire wrap project but intend to later today. Not that I don't want to but was busy with work (traveling on weekend..again!), spring cleaning (since its close to Chinese New Year) and a bit of shopping here and there. I was in Bintulu (yeah!...again) yesterday and it was a wet wet trip. Flooding here and there and we have to cancel one of the meeting with the villagers. Another trip another day, most likely after Chinese New Year. Here are some pictures of the wet! wet! condition in Bintulu and Kuching this morning. It has been raining non-stop for the last 3 days.
