Crocodiles and Orchids

Yesterday morning we were at Jong's Crocodile Farm. Took the boys to see the crocs - their first time. They were and are still excited and happy with the visit and now they are requesting for another trip there. Here are some pix of the hungry crocs.

More Please! Sparklies

For the last two nights, I have been working on these sparklies. 50 of them. Yeah! A whole bunch of them and my fingers are sore from holding the crystals, especially the 4mm Swarovski Crystal while wrapping them. They can be quite painful if you keep holding them on the same spot of your fingertip - in this case the tip of my pointing finger. These are called Sparkly Crystal Ring and they are similar the following which I have done before (Wow! quite a lot of them now that I am listing them here): A bunch of wire wrapped Sparkly Crystal RingHere are few simpler version of the ring as I ran out of 4mm bicone Swarovski Crystal. Still simple and sparkly though. Woven Rings - Gift for a Friend

The three gold filled wire woven rings are made for a good friend of mine and her mom - GK. Her birthday is coming very soon and I hope that these rings for her two little fingers will bring her all the "ong" (good fortune/luck) she needs :) I use Citrine for both rings as Citrine attracts wealth and people who can prosper us. three gold filled wire woven ringsFor the other gold filled ring, I use Obsidian and this is a gift for GK's mom. They say Obsidian helps to promote grounding and release tension and energy blockages. three gold filled wire woven rings The last ring, black onyx woven ring (stainless steel wire) is a commissioned piece.

My Other Addiction

Not many knows about this addiction of mine. Not that I am keeping it a secret! Pst! I have few other addictions - but that will be for another time. OK! I am addicted to PEN, and I love to collect them. I can't resist "browsing" through the pens/pencils section whenever I am in the mall or bookshops. Always looking for new pens and designs. It does not matter whether it is a cheap or expensive pen (expensive to me is more than $100 for a pen - can't afford too expensive addiction anyway!). So far, I have more than 100 pens in my collection :), excluding those in the office. I rarely use them, just like to collect them. And here is one that I got for myself during lunch break today (Another pen! that would be hubby's reaction :D) - its a Zebra slide pen, my first slide pen actually - I think they are the "in pen" now. Love the green color, actually I also like the purple and turquoise color but I can only choose one and decided on the green. A similar Parker Slide Pen is in the next display but cost about 6x more at RM119 - a bit expensive but if I "want" it I can still change it to "affordable" (wicked Mei) :) Anyway, I will try out the Zebra slide pen first. I might go back for the Parker pen later....hehehe Anyone out there who is also PEN ADDICT?? Zebra slide penZebra slide pen

Tulip Brooch - Different Leaves

I ran out of the turquoise glass bead leaves for this tulip brooch so as an alternative, I tried this diamond shaped blue glass bead and swarovski crystal. Not bad at all :) Don't you think so? Just trying to make myself feel good here but who says a leave has to look like a leave :) wire wrapped tulip brooch

William is not a fruit person so he didn't touch the bananas. Henry loves bananaHe'd rather pretend to be sleeping...................
