Anyway, I managed to get these angelic earrings done in the afternoon before being "forced" to take a short nap with the boys...I don't know why but I have to lie down next to them whenever they want to take their nap. Otherwise, they won't lie down and sleep...Anyway, I treat this time as my "quality" time with them...:) So you see, this is a cycle every weekend. Half of my afternoon gone this way.

Few Angelic Earrings
Hmmm...weekend is almost gone but I didn't manage to spend more time with wire jewelry the last two days. House chores came first last Saturday morning. Spent the whole morning spring cleaning the kitchen/dining room. Got rid of bottles and containers accumulated over the years but not willing to part with (not me ya..hehe!). Finally, there are more rooms for more containers :) ...... actually I bought new tupperware containers the other day and I need to make space for them :D

Heart in Heart, Wire Woven Heart Pendant
This wire woven heart is a commissioned piece, completed late last night and shipped out this morning to its new owner.
I call it Heart in Heart as there is a smaller heart inside the bigger one. Really love this piece and was so tempted to keep it for myself :) I enjoyed the weaving (with 28ga stainless steel wire) so much that I am planning to use this technique more in future.

Wire Crocheted Bracelet - My First
My customers are wonderful people who always give me new challenges by requesting something that I have never done before. This time around is a request for a tourmaline chips wire crochet bracelet.
I was quite hesitant to start as I am not very sure if I can make it or not. After all I have very basic crocheting skill. I can only make the loop or what is known as chain stitch. But fortunately, that is all you need to know to make a wire crochet bracelet - make some loops. Oh! don't forget the crochet hook.
Look at my first attempt with the tourmaline chips. Broke some chips in my first try. They are so brittle. Most likely due to the wire I used, 26g wire which is too thick for crocheting.
On my second attempt, I use 28g wire and the result is my first wire crocheted bracelet! Not that difficult after all. Learn to crochet a loop and you will be on your way to many many more wire crochet bracelets, necklaces, etc. etc.
If your are interested to learn wire crocheting, here are three sites that provide free wire crochet tutorials that I found online and they are easy to follow:

Happy trying :)

Variations on Sparkly Crystal Ring by Cheryl Lloyd
How creative can you be with my sparkly crystal ring?
Here are variations of the ring by Cheryl Lloyd of Handmade In Wiltshire. She made a double turn around the central stone and then the two outers. Lovely aren't they and here is what she has to say:
"I've played around with your sparkly ring tutorial so often - it's such a good technique, thank you. Yes, I can do it blindfolded now!"
Blindfolded! Although its my tut but I can't do it blindfolded yet LOL!
