Completed Today - Wire Wrapped Necklace and Pendant

Not very productive today as I was busy with other matters in the morning and only get started at about 2pm. These are two wire wrapped pieces completed. The wire wrapped bead is glass while I am not sure about the green stones...could be agate or aventurine. More like aventurine. They are quite large, about 1.5cm each and the end result is quite a heavy necklace.

This was taken from the 19th floor of Menara Pelita. I have been there many many times but just didn't manage to take any photo till this time around. Kuching City is at the background. Notice how flat the land around the City is.

Some Recent Purchase - Stones & Cabs

Hmmm...I have been spending on some cabs and stones recently. Here are pictures of them....aren't they yummy especially the rubies? The smaller rubies belong to my aunt-in law. She would like it to be wire wrap into bracelet and maybe a ring. This will be another challenge for me :) Love the moonstones as well. Look at the iridescent. Would be lovely for a ring.

Few Items Completed Today

Sharing with you several pieces I managed to complete today - Woven Black Onyx Ring, Pearl Bracelet and Herringbone Weaved Bracelet and Earrings set.

Netted Bezels, Wire Wrap Bracelet, etc.

Finally I got to make a netted bezel cab based on Delia Stone's tutorial. I have tried it before but it was not very successful. No picture was taken for this failed project. This time around it worked. I use 27ga stainless steel wire for the net. This cab is part of a bracelet with Goldstones. See more pix below. Other wire wrapped components of the bracelet (top pix) and the finished bracelet (bottom pix) on William's wrist.
