Pocket Rosaries

Following my previous post, here are the completed wire wrapped pocket rosaries or bracelet rosary completed recently.

They are of mixed gemstones and pearl.

The mini crosses of about 2.5 cm in length are hardened by hammering.

Another few weeks to complete them

Chinese New Year Outing

Short Visit to Sematan and Lundu

Took a short drive to the tip of Sarawak, Sematan.

The last time we were here was back in 2017, more than 4 years ago.

The Pan Borneo Highway is still under construction, to be upgraded to a two-lane dual carriageway. Lots of diversions along the way but bearable.

On our way to Pantai Pugu (Pugu Beach), we decided to take the short cut via the oil palm plantation. Took the wrong turn and lost our way for a while.

Road to Pugu Beach, completed not long ago starts from Jalan Pantai Pandan to Kampung Belungei. Very quite with little traffic.

Direction to Pugu Beach at Kampung Pugu. Pugu Beach is about 8 km long from Bukit Gondol.

One of the resort/camping ground, privately operated at Pugu Beach. Didn't check so not sure about the entrance fee or other charges.
