Iridescent of Abalone Shell
This piece of abalone shell is from New Zealand. Mom-in-law found it in her drawer and handed it over to me to play with. She said she has lots of them but can't locate them at the moment. Oh well, what a waste.
Here, the shell is wrapped simply with 22g stainless steel wire. Simple but very tight. At the back of the shell (or is it the front?), the wire is bend like a cross. Hmmm! a lot of crosses lately.
thank mei! u give me an inspiration for my shell bead also..before this i dont know what to do with, after after saw your design something comeout in my mind..very2 thank mei!!
