Last weekend was a busy weekend for me and hubby. For one, we went for last minute shopping…mainly to get things for the nieces and nephew in Lahad Datu. Yes! We are going “balik kampong” (literally translated as “go back to the home town”) and spending the Christmas holiday in Sabah. Actually I don’t celebrate X’mas but as Malaysian, we celebrate all the festivals no matter what background you are from. And it is very common to find a family who celebrates all the major festivals here because some families maybe have a mixture of Christians, Muslim, Buddhist, etc. as their members. So, we celebrate all…it’s like hitching a ride. My plan for the trip to Sabah is to take a lot of photos especially pictures related to my hobby …. wire wrapped jewelry, jewelry (native hopefully), beads, pearls - Sabah is very popular for its pearls) especially at a place known as the Filipino Market (I will definitely take pictures of this market and purchase the pearls) and orchids especially wild orchids – Sabah is also very popular for its wild orchids….and also places we plan to visit…..and share them here with all of u.
Back to jewelry, didn’t manage to make a lot last weekend but I was busy with earrings again…yes, earrings …same beads as those posted on the 13th, 14th and 15th, so I will not upload the pics here. I am trying to finish off all these beads from China before the 21st as my friend is going to bring them back to her hometown in Sri Aman and try to sell them there.
What I am showing here is previously made pieces. Just simple glass beads and swarovski crystal earrings as well as bracelets.
